I Am Abel Foundation understands that medicine and society must be intricately woven together as there is no healing possible when we ignore the plight of our brother and sisters. Therefore service and humanitarian service is not just something we do. It is who we are as physician healers and future healthcare heroes.
Last December 22, 2018, with a host of Mentees, #PROUD Parents, family, friends and several of our physician mentors like Dr. Audrey Tanksley and Dr. Daisy Dowell, we spent our morning at Aurora Facility’s “Feed Our Starving Children” where our families donated funds and packed food for children all over the world.
